DeltaVision Wins Irish Imaging Award!

Breast Cancer HER2 Amplification Detection System

The Department of Cytogenetics at Sheffield Children’s Hospital has taken delivery of an Accord image analysis system, the first of its kind to achieve US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) clearance for HER2 amplification detection in breast cancer. Accord is one of an exciting new range of tools launched by Image Solutions  in the fight against aggressive HER2-positive metastatic breast cancer. Click here for more information

Microfluidic Plates

Image Solutions are now supplying CellASIC Microfluidic plates. The plates come in 3 varieties, designed to work with Yeast, Mammalian and Bacterial cells. All plates have fully independant perfusion units, which allows the cells to be kept alive for 3 or more days. Each plate also has the option of temperature and gas control available. CellASIC Microfluidic Plates

Image Solutions are now supplying CellASIC Microfluidc plates for use with the CellASIC Onyx. The plates come in 3 varieties; Yeast, Mammalian and Bacterial. All plates have two independant flow units, and allow up to three medium solutions to be used.

Photometrics Evolve: 512

Image Solutions are pleased to announce the arival of the Evolve: 512, which is now the smallest and most powerful EMCCD camera on the market. The camera combines the most accurate calibration technique with the lowest dark and lowest read noise available for any EMCCD camera. The Evolve's most notable feature is its revolutionary Quant-View, which allows pixel values to be read out in terms of electrons, allowing repeatable methodology, giving the most accurate, quantifiable and reproducible results.

Customised Stage Inserts

Image Solutions were approached by representatives from the Marie Curie Research Institute and asked to design a new stage insert for their Applied Precision DeltaVision systems. They asked for a design that would allow them to use a greater variety of dishes, meaning they could make significant savings on their dish purchases.

Image Solutions are proud to announce that they have been appointed exclusive distributor for the UK and Ireland for the microfluidics company CellASIC.

CellASIC specialises in developing perfusion systems. Specifically, they provide platforms that allow live cell culture on the microscope for time-lapse based experiments.

Image Solutions expands to provide customised parts for microscopes

In response to the growing number of our customers requiring bespoke components in order to complete complex imaging systems, Image Solutions has expanded by forming a custom engineering division.

Staffed by skilled and experienced toolmakers the new facility boasts state of the art CNC milling and lathe facilities, as well as a variety of material processing capabilities enabling production of any bespoke component to complete any custom microscopy solution. 

Currently these facilities have been used to make camera mounts and couplers, as well as custom motorised stage and environmental chambers.
