X-Cite Lamps and Liquid Light Guides
The powerful 120W lamp used in the X-CiteŽ 120Q Series provides excitation intensity comparable to, or better than, conventional mercury arc lamps, with an added benefit of a broader spectrum being able to excite more fluorophores. The lamps have a guaranteed life of 2000 hours.
The X-CiteŽ illuminators connect to your microscope via a liquid light guide and a coupling adaptor. The light guides have a core diameter of 3mm, and are available in either 1500mm or 3000mm lengths.
The same light guides can be used for all X-CiteŽ illuminators.
