Yokogawa CV1000

The Yokogawa Cell Voyager (CV1000) is a fully integrated desk-top imaging system equipped with precision environment control. The system is composed of a CSU unit, laser light sources and an EMCCD camera. This revolutionary system enables long time observaion of most delicate life processes, such as the generation of iPS/ES cells or embryogenesis quite easily and without the necessity of dark room operation. The strong advantage of substantially reduced photo toxicity/bleaching by dual Nipkow disc scanning of the CSU differentiates the CV1000 from any other imaging systems.
System Configuration

Confocal Scanner Unit
- Significantly lower levels of photo bleaching and photo toxicity wxhibited in log-time live cell imaging.
EMCCD Camera
- Thanks to its ultra-high qantum efficiency, you can capture images at very low laser power an can significantly reduce photo damage.
Stage Incubator
- Stable environment control enables long time live cell imaging while keeping the specimen healthy
High-Precision X-Y Stage
- Minimises pixel shift when multi-point time lapse imaging
Software
Map View: Sample Search Function
The X-Y map view images are automatically generated to cover a wide image area to enable easy understanding of sample distribution. You can access your target area as easily as you operate an internet search engine.
Optimal Condition Setting Assistance
The software assists you in choosing the optimal laser power, camera gain and exposure time to enable clear and highest S/N imaging with the lest photo bleaching. The CV1000 is also equipped with a management shutter to minmise actual laser illumination time on the specimen.
