The CellVoyager™ CV1000 provides renowned Yokogawa spinning disk confocal imaging technology in an easy to use, incubated bench-top solution for live cell imaging. With its microlens enhanced dual Nipkow disk scanning technology, phototoxicity and photobleaching are drastically reduced, making it ideal for use in observing highly delicate life processes such as iPS/ES cell generation and embryogenesis. Do you need a bespoke part for your microscope?

In response to the growing number of our customers requiring bespoke components in order to complete complex imaging systems, Image Solutions has expanded by forming a custom engineering division.
Staffed by skilled and experienced toolmakers the new facility boasts state of the art CNC milling and lathe facilities, as well as a variety of material processing capabilities enabling production of any bespoke component to complete any custom microscopy solution.
Currently these facilities have been used to make camera mounts and couplers, as well as custom motorised stage and environmental chambers.

The BX3 range is the latest generation of microscopes from Olympus.
Redesigned from the ground upwards, the BX3 range of microscopes offer unprecedented functionality and ergonomics. The highly modular design of these new systems means that they can be designed to suit individual user needs and are 'future lab ready,' i.e. easily upgraded to adapt to changing demands. The new series of BX3 microscopes will replace the BX2 series in clinical and research applications.

Imsol complete biggest install yet at the Institute of Human Genetics, Montpellier
The OMX has been installed in the Cell Imaging Facility at the CNRS Institute of Human Genetics in Montpellier. The instrument will ultimately facilitate ground-breaking fixed and live-cell fluorescence microscopy, primarily in the fields of Genome Dynamics and Genetic Development where the system’s super-resolution imaging capability will reveal previously unrevealed detail. Key research areas will include Chromatin, Chromosome Segregation, Cell Cycle and Cell Biology.

Due to an increase in demand for bespoke components, Imsol has doubled the size of its workshop, as well as installing a precision tool room centre lathe. The workshop, run by experience engineer Paul Cullingford, is equipped with a wide range of tools and equippment. Sheffield Scientists Lead The Way With UK's First Breast Cancer HER2 Amplification Detection System
The Department of Cytogenetics at Sheffield Children's Hospital has taken delivery of an Accord image analysis system, the first of its kind to achieve Us Food and Drug Administration (FDA) clearance for HER2 amplification detection in breast cancer.
