System Build Process
DV Core Build Process
This sequence of images shows how the DeltaVision Core system at Cambridge University was built. This system was modified to accomodate a lower port mounted camera, as well as the side mounted one. The University also asked for QLM laser safety switches, which are designed to prevent the laser projecting into the eyepiece, by automatically switching the laser off when the eyepiece is in use. The switches were designed and manufactured in-house by Head of Engineering, Paul Cullingford, using Imsol's CAD/CAM equipment.
