Preston based Image Solutions (UK) Ltd., has recently set up a state-of-the-art custom engineering division which offers a manufacturing service to companies with imaging problems. Any custom component can be manufactured to complete bespoke imaging systems that give our customers more flexibility and an edge over their competitors.
Mr. Paul Cullingford who was headhunted to lead this new division said “I love engineering and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to set up a bespoke hi-tech facility for Image Solutions. Image Solutions (UK) Ltd., are a very forward looking company and well known in the industry to employ only the best and most experienced people who are dedicated to offering customers the best imaging solution for their needs.”
So far Image Solutions Engineering Division have already solved a number of complex imaging problems. For example, manufacturing of custom, waterproof, easy-to-wipe surrounds for cameras used in a wet environment. A range of waterproof external switches, normally used on ski boats have also been added for easy zoom and manual focus control. Also waterproof touch-screen monitors have been installed in another wet environment. Image Solutions have also mounted cameras in various awkward locations and also on moveable arms.
Mr. Ian Corless MD of Image Solutions (UK) Ltd. said “We decided to set up this new division in response to the growing demand from our customers. We are now in a unique position of being able to offer bespoke imaging systems for all of our customer needs.” Ian went on to say “I wanted Paul Cullingford to lead this new division because he has over 25 years experience as a mechanical/production engineer and he has worked on some of the most challenging and thrilling projects. For example, Formula 1 powerboat racing and arms weapon development. I am sure he will offer our customers some very innovative solutions to their imaging problems.”
